Application

The 5075 measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, 2/4 wire resistance, frequency, period, diode, continuity, capacitance and PT100 with advance testing features.

Specifications & Features

It is a benchtop digital Multimeter that combines high performance and accuracy with simple operation. The 5075 has exceptional resolution and accuracy up to 7½ digits.

The Auto Dynamic Filter (ADF) mode allows the 5075 to automatically select the most suitable filter. For a fast changing signal or for when the signal is first connected the reading is displayed almost immediately, but if the input remains constant, the filter time is increased to provide a more stable accurate reading.

Operation is simple, all major functions from range selection to null require just one key press. The large 24 digit display shows clearly the range and reading and can even show the time to the next sample if required. Other functions can be easily selected from a scrolled menu.

Functions for diode/zener tests, max/min, peak hold and continuity checks are available and also various audible warnings can be selected.

A bar graph function allows the user to program high and low pass/fail limits and switch to the bar display mode. This will give an audible and visual indication to the user of the components specification.

A low thermal, 10-channel scanner option, allows multiple inputs to be displayed or compared without the additional cost and inconvenience of a separate switching arrangement.

Calibration made easy
To automate the calibration process the 5075 can be controlled using Time Electronics’ EasyCal software. This provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results. Easily produce calibration certificates and reports to ISO 17025, and other international quality standards.

Application

A high accuracy AC and DC power calibrator suitable for calibrating single phase watt-meters, power meters, and kW-Hr meters.

Specifications & Features

Supplied with its own “Virtual Control” software allowing the user full control via laptop or PC. Frequency can be set in 0.1Hz steps from 45 to 400Hz, and phase in 0.1-degree steps. Alternatively power factor (PF) can be set in 0.01 steps. The output can be displayed as VA or Watts.

The standard maximum AC current output (22A) can be extended to 100A by using an optional 100A current transformer. This extends the maximum power to 0.1MW/MVA. A clamp meter adaptor option is also available (1 and 50 turns).

The 5077 can also be controlled using Time Electronics’ EasyCal software. This provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results and produces calibration certificates and reports to ISO 17025, and other international quality standards.

Quick and Easy Oscilloscope Calibration to 600 MHz

Frequencies are generated from an internal 0.1 ppm temperature controlled quartz crystal oscillator. A
precise square-wave output provides a fast rise time of less than 300 ps, which allows bandwidth testing up to 600 MHz.

Simple Operation
Functions and ranges are easily accessed from the front panel. Increase and decrease keys per digit, are used to quickly set the output value. Deviation control then enables the user to finely adjust the output value as a percentage (+/-9.99%). All this information is shown on a clear, easy to read LED display.

Virtual Control Software
The 5045 is supplied as standard with Time Electronics’ windows based Virtual Control interface software. This enables the user to control the instrument via a laptop or PC.

2GHz Levelled sine-wave option
For precise bandwidth determination and frequency response analysis the 2GHz option is available. The ability to sweep the frequency output from 10MHz to 2GHz and adjust the amplitude from 0.5V to 1.5V pk-pk ensures accurate analysis of oscilloscope input amplifiers.

Current probe calibration
For calibration of oscilloscope current probes an external adaptor is available. This converts the 5045’s amplitude output to current and covers the range 0.1mA to 100mA pk-pk, 0.2% accuracy, DC or 1kHz.

Rubidium frequency reference
Enhanced timing performance is available by specifying the rubidium high stability frequency reference option (9762). This option achieves timing accuracies required to calibrate high performance timer/counters to 1 part in 1010.

Calibration made easy
To automate the oscilloscope calibration process the 5045 can be controlled using Time Electronics’ EasyCal calibration software. This provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results. Easily produce calibration certificates and reports to ISO 17025, and other international quality standards.
