dial thermometers for Cold Chain Monitoring

What we offer?

Budenberg offers Dial Thermometers for monitoring of cold chain network in compliance with WHO standards in two variants. One for use in vaccine control and other in infection control cold chain monitoring.

What is Cold Chain?

Pharmaceutical products like vaccines, serums, etc. are temperature-sensitive and require special handling once manufactured. To ensure the effectiveness of the vaccines, they need to be stored within the temperature range specified by manufacturers. Most of the vaccines are heat-sensitive; thereby need customized storage and transportation to ensure their effectiveness. The process of transporting and storing biological products involves sophisticated technologies such as refrigeration systems and is termed as cold chain.

cold chain is a temperature-controlled supply chain. An unbroken cold chain is an uninterrupted series of refrigerated production, storage and distribution activities, along with associated equipment and logistics, which maintain and monitors a desired low-temperature range.

Cold Chain management and control

Cold chain management includes all of the means used to ensure a constant temperature (between +2°C and +8°C) for a product that is not heat stable (such as vaccines, serums, etc.), from the time it is manufactured until the time it is used.

The manufacturers that produce vaccinations incorporate strict guidelines to maintain the potency of the vaccine.  This includes maintaining the effectiveness of the vaccines at all parts of the cold chain by maintaining a constant temperature between +2°C to +8°C.

Cold chain is a network of cold stores, freezers, walk-in coolers, refrigerators, dial thermometers, cold boxes and vaccine carriers organized and maintained to prevent vaccines form losing their integrity during transportation, storage and distribution; from factory to the point of use.

Dial Thermometers for Cold Chain network

Budenberg manufacturers specially designed Dial thermometers for monitoring of temperature in cold chain network. These dial thermometers comply with WHO standards and are approved by WHO under PQS code E006/034 and are available in two variants. One for use in cold chain monitoring in vaccine control and second for cold chain monitoring in infection control.
